2016 Beer Log - February

After completing the last beer log posting that was originally labeled '2016 Beer Log,' I realized I was drinking a lot more beer than expected during the #250KChallenge. Therefore, I had to add a month to the title.

So the drinking continues...

In my own backyard in Hayward, a new spot called Brews & Brats has a decent selection. I always go for the flight. #AllTheBeer

After a fun night of going to see The Illusionists, hanging out with Ben Blaque and James Moore from the show at Mr. Tipple's, seeing star bartendress, Maritza, for her bday, I came back to DW and Kristian had this. Cantillon is the beer that had me saying years ago, "oh, I like that one!"





I don't check into Untappd as much as I should. But clearly February wasn't a very hoppy month for me. Come Leap Day, I had some Firestone Walker beer due to an event, Milk & Cookies. Our new Yelp territory manager also had his debut event that evening. Both were great guys.

According to Untappd, I also had the Velvet Merlin by Firestone Walker that day.

I became a fan of the Bad Girls Club when a Season 3 marathon was airing (in 2008, is it?) and I just had the television on while I was doing chores around the house. Every now and then I’d hear “*BEEP* you, you *BEEP*ing *BEEP*!”, some screaming and “This is the Amber Show” do-do-do-do-do-Doo! Eventually I was glued to the screen and not doing chores anymore and spent most of the day laughing and thinking “ohnoshedidn’t!” They were NUTS! I don’t think I could live my life with a camera following me around and for the whole world to see and criticize. But I kept on watching and when fights broke out, my boyfriend would hear the screaming from another room and ask “WHAT are you watching?!?” I am not one for reality television. My Most Engaging Post Yet

Christmas is just days away. A storm in the Bay Area has passed. Two holiday parties were a success. But these past 18 hours have been a whirlwind for sure. Yesterday evening, after dinner, in our home office discussing the home we are in process of purchasing, holding a gray box from The Shane Company , my boyfriend (wearing a black long sleeved shirt and his Adidas pants with white paint stains from painting the condo earlier this year, and I in jeans, my Toby Keith blue tank top from his Las Vegas “ I Love This Bar ” restaurant, my blue SFSU zipper up sweatshirt, and my brown childhood blanket draped over my lap) got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. “Yeah.” I hugged him tight and kissed him repeatedly. It's Gonna Be May

I'm sure you've seen it. If you have a friend named May, the *Nsync memes are overtaking your Facebook and Instagram feed, right? Tomorrow ends the month of April and I was 10 posts behind the daily blog post challenge. For this Monday Motivation post, I will keep going until I reach that 30 count. Better late than never! May is turning out to be a busy month. Not surprising for this One Busy Bee. I finally have a set schedule for my part time job as a Concierge at the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. I really do like the job, what I'm doing, the hotel and staff, and how the time spent here contributes to my experience in the travel and tourism industry, all the while continuing in the hospitality industry as well. Working only about 30 hours a week, it will finally allow me to schedule workouts, get in some sort of sleeping pattern and work on my business as a Travel Agent . There is so much to do!
