Los Lonely Boys: Keep On Giving

Image
My favorite band, the Los Lonely Boys, has released their newest LIVE album and their La Onda Street Team (with Reverbnation) is running a promotion contest that ends on Halloween, October 31, 2010. I won 2nd or 3rd place in the previous contest they had and won 4 free tickets, autographed memorabilia, a t-shirt, etc. I am going to win this one again. :) Buy the new album "Keep On Giving" on iTunes and Amazon.com. Please spread the word!

LOST DOG: Angie, the sweetest pit bull, in Grand Junction, CO

Image
UPDATE! Angie was found. Someone left the door open at his house and a neighbor a block away had her. Yay! What a scary thing to go thru! She could've gotten hit by a car, lying in a street somewhere. So glad she's home safely. From my cousin, Nolan, in Colorado. IF YOU HAVE SEEN MY DOG PLEASE CALL ME 707-490-5882 LAST SEEN THURSDAY 9/23. My address is 1225 N. 16th St. Grand Junction, CO, 81501 (Glenwood and 16th) If someone has her, no questions asked, just please return her. Angie is the sweetest pit bull I've ever met. She's been over to my condo for Pacquiao fights, she loves getting chased by my 2-year-old Boston and is unbelievably well behaved. If you know anyone that knows anyone in Colorado, please repost it on Facebook, Twitter or on your blog. She's part of our family.

Even if you’re on the right track…

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll still get run over if you’re not moving.” Notes from WIN trainings NOT MLM, Multi Level Compensation As already mentioned, I have briefly been a part of an MLM and people automatically associate WIN with a ‘pyramid-thing’ or an MLM. From my experience with PPL, it just took up way too much of my time. The folks were super pushy and wanted your contact list. Your ‘training’ was in a hotel banquet room. I joined to help my sister because she asked me to. I didn’t like her sponsor and at the time I had two jobs, was going to school and commuting. I’d do what I can but I can’t make it my priority. INTERNATIONAL is in the name. It is in 36 countries, with Australia, Germany and Turkey being the most recent areas. In addition, a pyramid scheme is illegal. And WIN has been around for 19 years. With Wellness International, I believe it is much different. “I don’t have time.” I’m only in trainings 4-6 hours a week. That’s not too bad of a

Trying Out Biolean Free, etc.

9:50 AM - Popped my normal 2 Omega-3 by WIN and 2 Biolean Free . 10:30 AM - Holy Moley! They weren't joking when you'll get a jolt from the Biolean Free. Wow. I also wanted to mention that I have always had a dry scalp but since I've been taking our Omega-3s, that has also gone away. Amazing. I didn't change my shampoo or conditioner. I was reading the FAQs on our Omega while at the gym and I realized that I haven't had a problem for quite some time. Usually, when I'm driving and I look in my mirror I can spot some dryness where I part my hair. Not cute. But not anymore. 10:55 AM - Whoa. Hearts beating fast. Mind going a million miles a minute. I don't think I need Biolean Free. Some Distributors really like it. I think I'll stick to my normal Biolean . 11:15 AM - Shakey, Shakey. Vicki says she gives it to her 78-year-old mother. I wonder how her body reacts to it.

So long to my 20s...

Today’s the last day of being in my 20s. So long, farewell…. I’ll go into more detail later but I had a great time in Seattle with Christy and Christine. The club night didn’t out so well but Jenny rounded up some folks and took me to V Bar on Santana Row. $9 for Smirnoff. Child, please. I got to wear my hotmiamistyles.com dress and new shoes from Bakers. At The Rack The following night we went to The Saddle Rack in Fremont and I had a good time there. They switched out the band and I wasn’t a fan. You could barely hear the gal. I didn’t spend a dime on drinks. The bartender was hooking it up all night long. I loved it. I didn’t feel so hot after a night of drinking in Seattle and I really wish I tried WIN’s LipoTrim because I was not a happy camper. Lipotrim is marketed to reduce the storage of new fat and maintain healthy blood glucose levels so it blocks out stuff in cocktails that make you hungover. But this past Saturday, I think I had at least 7 shots and given

SPONSOR ME! This will be my 9th Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. I do this walk in honor of my aunt Virgina Saguing, my cousin, Natalie Nobida, who passed away this May, and the single mother of a good friend, Maureen Withrow . MSABC is the official sponsor of birthdays. Celebrate those birthdays of being cancer free, fighting cancer by being healthy, active and spreading the word. Take a moment to review what you've accomplished, the simple fact of being able to have great experiences and create new memories with friends and loved ones. A lot can happen to a person in one year's time. Appreciate it. Push forward for another year. Did you know that every 3 minutes another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer? 85% of women who get breast cancer have NO family history of breast cancer. 4 women die every hour from breast cancer The MOST common cancer in women, no matter your race or ethnicity. The MOST common cause of death from cancer

Seattle, Here We Come!

Looking forward to going to Seattle this weekend for 2.5 days. We’ll be leaving Sunday morning and coming back Tuesday night. I haven’t been to Seattle since my advertising days at Y&R. My first trip up there when I was a teenager was when I was conned by my mother that we were leaving Vancouver, Washington to visit Seattle. She purposely left out the detail that we’ll be attending an all day Christian outing in some hall. That was NOT my idea of fun. (I was raised Catholic!) I’ll be heading up there with Christy and meeting up with our friend that we call Shoe, Dr. Zapata. City Beaches reunite! Now that I think about it, I hired them both at City Beach. The first thing we’ll be doing is heading straight to a bar that’s airing the 49ers v. Seagulls game. I will definitely be sporting my jersey. Love you, Jerry! We’ll definitely hit up Pike Place and maybe pay the $18 to go up the Space Needle. I remember winding my way thru Pike Place and ended up on a rooftop deck having sush
