LOST DOG: Angie, the sweetest pit bull, in Grand Junction, CO

UPDATE! Angie was found. Someone left the door open at his house and a neighbor a block away had her. Yay! What a scary thing to go thru! She could've gotten hit by a car, lying in a street somewhere. So glad she's home safely.

From my cousin, Nolan, in Colorado.

IF YOU HAVE SEEN MY DOG PLEASE CALL ME 707-490-5882 LAST SEEN THURSDAY 9/23. My address is 1225 N. 16th St. Grand Junction, CO, 81501 (Glenwood and 16th) If someone has her, no questions asked, just please return her.

Angie is the sweetest pit bull I've ever met. She's been over to my condo for Pacquiao fights, she loves getting chased by my 2-year-old Boston and is unbelievably well behaved.

If you know anyone that knows anyone in Colorado, please repost it on Facebook, Twitter or on your blog. She's part of our family.

Even if you’re on the right track…

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll still get run over if you’re not moving.”

Notes from WIN trainings

NOT MLM, Multi Level Compensation
As already mentioned, I have briefly been a part of an MLM and people automatically associate WIN with a ‘pyramid-thing’ or an MLM. From my experience with PPL, it just took up way too much of my time. The folks were super pushy and wanted your contact list. Your ‘training’ was in a hotel banquet room. I joined to help my sister because she asked me to. I didn’t like her sponsor and at the time I had two jobs, was going to school and commuting. I’d do what I can but I can’t make it my priority. INTERNATIONAL is in the name. It is in 36 countries, with Australia, Germany and Turkey being the most recent areas. In addition, a pyramid scheme is illegal. And WIN has been around for 19 years. With Wellness International, I believe it is much different.

“I don’t have time.”
I’m only in trainings 4-6 hours a week. That’s not too bad of a commitment. Just last night, I spent three hours sitting on the couch catching up on Jersey Show and The Bad Girls Club.

I don’t get paid to Yelp
I love that I can be a Kobe Bryant and get paid for endorsing products I use and love. I’m a Yelp Elite member. I so wish I would get a kick back every time someone checked out a restaurant because of my review.

Insanity = doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I love that because it’s true. People have dreams and ambitions but they aren’t doing everything possible to achieve them, or they don’t realize that doing something over and over again is just not getting the job done. I deal with this in my relationships. I could say the same thing over and over again but if I don’t try to explain what I’m trying to communicate another way, I may not get my message across.. EVER. It’s really frustrating but you can’t give up. “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll still get run over if you’re not moving.”

It’s Doable
So this business is not whether you can or cannot do it. It’s a will or will not choice for people to make.

The Money is Already Being Spent and It’s Growing
I love this opportunity video. Check it out here. It will put the Wellness Industry in perspective for you. If I could have 1% of the money going into people’s health, bettering their lives, extending their life spans – I’d be set. If you don’t want a piece of the pie, more for me, right?!?!

More product info:
WIN has products for people who can’t sleep, need to lose weight,

Our Omega has almost as much (88%) omega as Lovaza the prescription omega you’ve seen tv and print ads for. Concord, CA December 5, 2010 The first annual Super Holiday Boutique is happening in Concord, CA Sunday, December 5th from 11:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Concord Hilton, 1970 Diamond Boulevard in Concord. This free event will offer one stop shopping for everyone on your list. Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of holiday gifts, pictures with Santa, free gift bags, food, a fun children’s activity zone, and over 80 vendors.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to find unique gifts and support small businesses in the community,” said sponsor Lynne Dahl with Isagenix. “This day is designed to celebrate everything wonderful about the Holidays,” she continued.

This free event will also include a raffle with extravagant gifts being given out every 30 minutes. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to charity. 250 tote bags will be given out at the start of the event. Trying Out Biolean Free, etc.

9:50 AM - Popped my normal 2 Omega-3 by WIN and 2 Biolean Free.

10:30 AM - Holy Moley! They weren't joking when you'll get a jolt from the Biolean Free. Wow.

I also wanted to mention that I have always had a dry scalp but since I've been taking our Omega-3s, that has also gone away. Amazing. I didn't change my shampoo or conditioner. I was reading the FAQs on our Omega while at the gym and I realized that I haven't had a problem for quite some time. Usually, when I'm driving and I look in my mirror I can spot some dryness where I part my hair. Not cute. But not anymore.

10:55 AM - Whoa. Hearts beating fast. Mind going a million miles a minute. I don't think I need Biolean Free. Some Distributors really like it. I think I'll stick to my normal Biolean.

11:15 AM - Shakey, Shakey. Vicki says she gives it to her 78-year-old mother. I wonder how her body reacts to it.

So long to my 20s...

Today’s the last day of being in my 20s. So long, farewell….

I’ll go into more detail later but I had a great time in Seattle with Christy and Christine. The club night didn’t out so well but Jenny rounded up some folks and took me to V Bar on Santana Row. $9 for Smirnoff. Child, please. I got to wear my dress and new shoes from Bakers.
At The Rack

The following night we went to The Saddle Rack in Fremont and I had a good time there. They switched out the band and I wasn’t a fan. You could barely hear the gal. I didn’t spend a dime on drinks. The bartender was hooking it up all night long. I loved it. I didn’t feel so hot after a night of drinking in Seattle and I really wish I tried WIN’s LipoTrim because I was not a happy camper. Lipotrim is marketed to reduce the storage of new fat and maintain healthy blood glucose levels so it blocks out stuff in cocktails that make you hungover. But this past Saturday, I think I had at least 7 shots and given that I don’t drink very much, I thought I was going to have a bad night… and morning. But I took the LipoTrim before we left the house and I was up and at it the next morning. I definitely got tipsy that night as Denny’s sounded and tasted soo good early that morning after a night of drinking and I passed the hell out in the car on the way home. I’d have to say LipoTrim works. At the Next Gen meeting a couple of weeks ago, I heard that some people sold them individually at college parties.

Tonight, a business overview in Walnut Creek. Going to go karaoke-ing with Brittany afterwards, and I think my boyfriend is taking me to dinner tomorrow night. I’m not sure.

So long to my 20s. Ahhh, memories…

Making Strides - WIN & Omega-3s

SPONSOR ME! This will be my 9th Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. I do this walk in honor of my aunt Virgina Saguing, my cousin, Natalie Nobida, who passed away this May, and the single mother of a good friend, Maureen Withrow. MSABC is the official sponsor of birthdays. Celebrate those birthdays of being cancer free, fighting cancer by being healthy, active and spreading the word. Take a moment to review what you've accomplished, the simple fact of being able to have great experiences and create new memories with friends and loved ones. A lot can happen to a person in one year's time. Appreciate it. Push forward for another year.

Did you know that every 3 minutes another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer?

85% of women who get breast cancer have NO family history of breast cancer.

4 women die every hour from breast cancer

The MOST common cancer in women, no matter your race or ethnicity.

The MOST common cause of death from cancer among Hispanic women.

The SECOND most common cause of death from cancer among white, black, Asian/Pacific Islander and American Indian/Alaska Native women.

Approximately 10% of those diagnosed with breast cancer have no lumps, pain or other indications of problem in their breasts.

Not entirely genetic: Just 5-10% of cases are due to faulty breast cancer genes BRCA1 and BRCA2.

Most breast cancers have been present for 6 to 8 years by the time they appear on mammograms, and screening misses up to 20% of all tumors.

Women under 50 years old account for 25% of all breast cancer cases.

Can Omega 3 Aid in the Prevention of Breast Cancer?
Read what studies show about Omega 3 and breast cancer research

Many more studies are being done before the claims that Omega 3 aids in the prevention of breast cancer is proven, but the evidence of current research tends to support just that. There are many studies and reports that point to the benefits of Omega 3 and breast cancer prevention. Here are the facts.
Fact #1 -- Women who eat foods rich in Omega 3 regularly are less likely to develop breast cancer

Of course all experts don't agree, but many studies indicate that women who have eaten a diet high in Omega 3 fatty acids over a period of many years, are less like likely to develop breast cancer. Women in the study consumed more foods that were high in Omega 3 like salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring, halibut, striped bass, tuna, and lake trout.

Other foods that were high on the dietary list of women with lower rates of breast cancer were flaxseed, kidney beans, great northern beans, navy beans, and soybeans.
Fact #2 -- The risk of dying from breast cancer is significantly less

Women who often substitute fish for meat and have a diet high in brown kelp seaweed have a higher percentage of surviving breast cancer. Scientists have discovered the balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 is very important. Women who develop breast cancer have a higher percentage of Omega 6 than Omega 3. By consuming more foods that are high in Omega 3, this balance can be kept at optimal levels.
Fact #3 -- The combination of Omega 3 and other nutrients play a role in breast cancer prevention

While studies indicate that a diet high in Omega 3 is effective in preventing breast cancer, researchers also state that it is most likely a combination of Omega 3 and other nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, selenium, a Co Q10.

Studies aren't conclusive that a diet high in Omega 3 will prevent breast cancer, but it's a good starting point. If you are concerned about preventing breast cancer, a diet high in healthy foods containing Omega 3 certainly doesn't hurt!

Seattle, Here We Come!

Looking forward to going to Seattle this weekend for 2.5 days. We’ll be leaving Sunday morning and coming back Tuesday night. I haven’t been to Seattle since my advertising days at Y&R. My first trip up there when I was a teenager was when I was conned by my mother that we were leaving Vancouver, Washington to visit Seattle. She purposely left out the detail that we’ll be attending an all day Christian outing in some hall. That was NOT my idea of fun. (I was raised Catholic!) I’ll be heading up there with Christy and meeting up with our friend that we call Shoe, Dr. Zapata. City Beaches reunite! Now that I think about it, I hired them both at City Beach. The first thing we’ll be doing is heading straight to a bar that’s airing the 49ers v. Seagulls game. I will definitely be sporting my jersey. Love you, Jerry!

We’ll definitely hit up Pike Place and maybe pay the $18 to go up the Space Needle. I remember winding my way thru Pike Place and ended up on a rooftop deck having sushi by myself in the sun. I wonder if I can find that place again. It was so peaceful. One of my clerks recommended that I go to Fremont and go shopping there. I also read online that Bruce Lee and his son, Brandon Lee, are buried up there and there’s a memorial bench for Kurt Cobain. I think we’ll make a stop at the cemetery to check those spots out.

Any recommendations on what to see in Seattle?
