Women Wednesday with Karl Strauss & Craft & Clothes Blogger

Women Wednesdays take place the first Wednesday of the month at Dirty Water in San Francisco. It is an event to highlight women in the industry and give back to a local non-profit. Yesterday, we had a special flight of Karl Stauss beer and had popular fashion blogger on Instagram and beer rep, Rania Theodosi aka Craft & Clothes. She rocked her "Karl is my Godfather" shirt. Love it!

We had a good time, enjoyed some beer, the Kentucky Fried Quail on #NationalFriedChicken day (who comes up with this stuff?!?) and had some girl time. My favorite of the flight remains the Aurora. They have awesome swag like pins, bottle opener key chains and stickers that say "Will Work for Beer" and "Enjoy Your Session," as in their Mosaic Session. Women Wednesday is not just about the ladies. Manager Nick is proud to rock his KARL pin on Women Wednesdays. I asked him what he was wearing, it was Calvin Klein and John Varvatos. Stylin'.

I became a fan of the Bad Girls Club when a Season 3 marathon was airing (in 2008, is it?) and I just had the television on while I was doing chores around the house. Every now and then I’d hear “*BEEP* you, you *BEEP*ing *BEEP*!”, some screaming and “This is the Amber Show” do-do-do-do-do-Doo! My Most Engaging Post Yet

Christmas is just days away. A storm in the Bay Area has passed. Two holiday parties were a success. But these past 18 hours have been a whirlwind for sure. Yesterday evening, after dinner, in our home office discussing the home we are in process of purchasing, holding a gray box from The Shane Company , my boyfriend (wearing a black long sleeved shirt and his Adidas pants with white paint stains from painting the condo earlier this year, and I in jeans, my Toby Keith blue tank top from his Las Vegas “ I Love This Bar ” restaurant, my blue SFSU zipper up sweatshirt, and my brown childhood blanket draped over my lap) got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. “Yeah.” I hugged him tight and kissed him repeatedly. It's Gonna Be May

I'm sure you've seen it. If you have a friend named May, the *Nsync memes are overtaking your Facebook and Instagram feed, right? Tomorrow ends the month of April and I was 10 posts behind the daily blog post challenge. For this Monday Motivation post, I will keep going until I reach that 30 count. Better late than never! May is turning out to be a busy month. Not surprising for this One Busy Bee. I finally have a set schedule for my part time job as a Concierge at the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. I really do like the job, what I'm doing, the hotel and staff, and how the time spent here contributes to my experience in the travel and tourism industry, all the while continuing in the hospitality industry as well. Working only about 30 hours a week, it will finally allow me to schedule workouts, get in some sort of sleeping pattern and work on my business as a Travel Agent . There is so much to do!
