Look what just rolled up down B Street in Hayward! FrostieRolls. It may have started in 2009 in Thailand but Hayward finally caught up.  For $7 and unlimited toppings, get fresh made ice cream right in front of you and enjoy!



This is the Cookie Monster with coconut, nuts and strawberries. My roommate had the s’mores cup with a toasted marshmallow on a pretzel stick. See her homemade s'mores cookies for National S'mores Day. Think of all the combinations you can make! Talk about options!





There is plenty of seating, games to play like Jenga at the table and complimentary water and iced tea. Park on the street or the parking garage at Mission and B.

Also new to town is Playt at the restaurant spot formerly known as Bijou. Dirty Bird has also moved from down on Mission Street. A new nail salon replaced the consignment shop at B and Foothill. And The Bistro is always a good spot for a pint of Pliny the Elder. Hello, Downtown Hayward!

I became a fan of the Bad Girls Club when a Season 3 marathon was airing (in 2008, is it?) and I just had the television on while I was doing chores around the house. Every now and then I’d hear “*BEEP* you, you *BEEP*ing *BEEP*!”, some screaming and “This is the Amber Show” do-do-do-do-do-Doo! My Most Engaging Post Yet

Christmas is just days away. A storm in the Bay Area has passed. Two holiday parties were a success. But these past 18 hours have been a whirlwind for sure. Yesterday evening, after dinner, in our home office discussing the home we are in process of purchasing, holding a gray box from The Shane Company , my boyfriend (wearing a black long sleeved shirt and his Adidas pants with white paint stains from painting the condo earlier this year, and I in jeans, my Toby Keith blue tank top from his Las Vegas “ I Love This Bar ” restaurant, my blue SFSU zipper up sweatshirt, and my brown childhood blanket draped over my lap) got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. “Yeah.” I hugged him tight and kissed him repeatedly. It's Gonna Be May

I'm sure you've seen it. If you have a friend named May, the *Nsync memes are overtaking your Facebook and Instagram feed, right? Tomorrow ends the month of April and I was 10 posts behind the daily blog post challenge. For this Monday Motivation post, I will keep going until I reach that 30 count. Better late than never! May is turning out to be a busy month. Not surprising for this One Busy Bee. I finally have a set schedule for my part time job as a Concierge at the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. I really do like the job, what I'm doing, the hotel and staff, and how the time spent here contributes to my experience in the travel and tourism industry, all the while continuing in the hospitality industry as well. Working only about 30 hours a week, it will finally allow me to schedule workouts, get in some sort of sleeping pattern and work on my business as a Travel Agent . There is so much to do!
