Fashion Consultant?

Since I have been posting a lot more via my social media pages and sharing Stella & Dot more than usual, I have received some great comments and a few inquiries of what to wear recently. It's great to have some amazing friends that are really supportive and ask me for my opinion.

I was honored to dress a friend when she was attending this year's Grammy awards. She was wearing my black dress with slits on the arms and this statement necklace.




I will now be providing my friend that has an office job with some jewelry to play around with. She said she will be taking pictures and posting them on social media promoting my business.



I received this text from a soon-to-be Masters recipient of what to wear during her commencement ceremony. I am honored.


A staff member of mine also asked to bring some jewelry to work so she can switch up her wardrobe. It is always nice to add something new to your collection. I suggested that I'd provide some jewels to wear on date night.




It's nice that I am turned to for advice in regards to style and fashion. I just sold a few retired pieces to a family member who, now that I think about it, was someone that I thought had a great sense of style. I had to tell her today as she purchased some of my samples that I believe she had to do something with my current sense of style and peeking my interest in fashion.

I love all Stella & Dot pieces. As you can see from my other blog posts, I have tried other jewelry companies and may have one or two from another brand. I am learning to let go of pieces that I really love and offer them to my lady friends that love them too. I have over $5,000 worth (retail) of Stella & Dot jewelry. I became a fan of the Bad Girls Club when a Season 3 marathon was airing (in 2008, is it?) and I just had the television on while I was doing chores around the house. My Most Engaging Post Yet

Christmas is just days away. A storm in the Bay Area has passed. Two holiday parties were a success. But these past 18 hours have been a whirlwind for sure. Yesterday evening, after dinner, in our home office discussing the home we are in process of purchasing, holding a gray box from The Shane Company , my boyfriend (wearing a black long sleeved shirt and his Adidas pants with white paint stains from painting the condo earlier this year, and I in jeans, my Toby Keith blue tank top from his Las Vegas “ I Love This Bar ” restaurant, my blue SFSU zipper up sweatshirt, and my brown childhood blanket draped over my lap) got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. “Yeah.” I hugged him tight and kissed him repeatedly. It's Gonna Be May

I'm sure you've seen it. If you have a friend named May, the *Nsync memes are overtaking your Facebook and Instagram feed, right? Tomorrow ends the month of April and I was 10 posts behind the daily blog post challenge. For this Monday Motivation post, I will keep going until I reach that 30 count. Better late than never! May is turning out to be a busy month. Not surprising for this One Busy Bee. I finally have a set schedule for my part time job as a Concierge at the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. I really do like the job, what I'm doing, the hotel and staff, and how the time spent here contributes to my experience in the travel and tourism industry, all the while continuing in the hospitality industry as well. Working only about 30 hours a week, it will finally allow me to schedule workouts, get in some sort of sleeping pattern and work on my business as a Travel Agent . There is so much to do!
