So Much Travel!

Image
The first thing to look forward to is ALLLL the travel ahead! Helloooo, 2019. What do you have booked so far? Maybe our paths will cross someday at a bar with swings as bar seats in Mexico or having a crazy amount of whiskey at a pub in Ireland (planned for September 2020) or sipping on some limoncello in neighboring beach chairs on the Amalfi Coast. You just never know! I love meeting people from all over the world. Here is what is happening in 2019. Want to join in on the fun? More the merrier! January - Walt Disney World - Orlando, Florida I will be participating in my first half marathon at the Happiest Place on Earth with my good friend, Nelly, running it with me and our two chEARleaders, Sandra and Kim. I am letting Kim lead the itinerary as I have never been and she can show this Certified Disney Travel Agent all I need to tell my guests. The one thing I wanted to do was dine at Be Our Guest, but we missed out on getting reservations. Oh, I also want to meet Thor. We met Ca...

#250KChallenge2018- Week 4

Image
Doing a fitness challenge while on vacation? Normally this One Busy Bee is all about it! I hit the gym almost everyday aboard Holland America Line ’s Oosterdam a couple of months ago. This time, not so good! But it’s about the bounce back! I don’t stay down for long and I tried to get back to it once I landed back in California. But here’s Week 4. It wasn’t pretty but it wasn’t a complete disaster. How’s every body else doing? Monday Recovery from the night before took place and I wanted to get as much from our last day in Barcelona. We walked a few miles to the soccer stadium. Unfortunately, I missed the last game of the season that took place on Saturday. We then took a cab to La Ramblas. Court Court has never been. Our first stop was coffee. This restaurant had carbonara on the menu. Since our trip to Italy, I have never found a carbonara dish remotely close to it. We walked around a bit more and Court Court was not feeling well so we just went back to the AirBNB . We had din...

OBB Weekly - 12-11-18

Versus a newsletter, I would prefer the content to live on the internet that can easily be referred to at a later date and look back at when needed. One of my most popular posts is from years ago! This will be a weekly post highlighting picks of the week in all that is One Busy Bee Enterprises LLC - Travel , Concierge and Event Planning . I hope you come back and click on the links for more information and it inspires you to book travel (with me!) and plan an event, again, with me. With basically two weeks until Christmas, let's get festive! Travel As a Certified Travel Agent and no family of my own, I took off on a Holland America cruise to the Mexican Riviera after the visits with family were done. Folks tend to escape the cold and take advantage of their children having a school break and head for warmer weather. It was great to sit by the pool on the Oosterdam and get in the water in Puerto Vallarta. Let me help you plan a getaway ! Do you escape during the winter mon...

Regresar a Cabo!

Image
My second visit to Los Cabos, Mexico will be taken place this November. Earlier this year, Cabo San Lucas was the first port we stopped at while aboard the Oosterdam by Holland America ( Day 1 ). There, my friend, Catherine and I snorkeled, paddle boarded and kayaked. Later this year, I will be accompanied by my Cugino (Cousin in Italian), his fiance and my future cousin and my new friend, Lola, a fellow and new food and travel blogger. Believe it or not, she and I have not personally met but are connected via online. Amazing, right? We met new friends from Utah! A seal On the list of things to do will be a mix of business and pleasure. This One Busy Bee can't resist. Thursday, we land in the afternoon. Thanks for the direct flight, Southwest , right out of Oakland. I'll get our rental car (still to be booked!), await my cousins' arrival from SFO and Lola from Long Beach. We'll go check into the JW Marriott and anxiously settle into our acco...

Fast & Furious on the Bay

Image
Vin Diesel was born in Alameda County in the San Francisco Bay Area. A $5 million dollar racing boat, USA 76, competed in the 2013 America's Cup. They go hand-in-hand right? This boat is available for day sailings, sunset sailings beginning in May and private charters. I am a lover of Vin Diesel since Pitch Black and being able to book a $3,200 private charter for 20 guests on this vessel would be just lovely to this Event Planner. Be sure to contact me to book! During a recent training on the product, the group was told that zero guests have gotten seasick on the vessel. Three guests that did get sick have but confessed it was due to their alcoholic consumption the night before. I definitely will not be doing that for my first sailing  on April 28th  with a few friends. I am trusting the Sales Representative and giving this a go because the experience sounds so cool, doesn't it? I get motion sickness on BART sometimes and have to drive or sit shotgun in a ca...
